R.J. began his career at SKY as an intern in 2019 before joining the firm full-time as an Associate Portfolio Manager in 2020. Over the years, he has grown into his current role as SKY’s Head Trader & Portfolio Manager.

R.J. values being part of a team of smart, driven professionals who share a deep commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients. He believes SKY’s investment philosophy truly sets the firm apart: conducting in-house research and investing directly in individual stocks and bonds. R.J. believes this hands-on approach is the best strategy for SKY’s clients—and it’s also his favorite part of the job.

He feels privileged to work with clients who are kind, thoughtful, and genuinely wonderful people.

Originally from Chester, Connecticut, R.J. earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut. Outside of work, he enjoys boating, fishing, skiing, hiking, and traveling.
