Tyler Waterman

Director of Research & Portfolio Manager

Tyler interned at SKY in 2010 and has been with the firm ever since. He worked as a platform services associate and as SKY’s Head Trader prior to becoming a portfolio manager and Director of Research in 2024.

Tyler values the open, collaborative environment at SKY, where investment ideas are generated through a blend of more experienced portfolio managers and young, energetic talent. At SKY, he works with a dedicated, responsive team who are committed to providing high-quality client service. Tyler appreciates the firm’s unwavering commitment to putting clients first, demonstrated by their willingness to travel for in-home meetings, their serious approach to cybersecurity, and their dedication to educating clients and their families on the “what” and “why” underpinning their portfolio strategy.

Tyler is originally from Simsbury, CT. He completed his undergraduate studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Tyler and his wife, Alie, have two boys, Tucker and Russell, and a cat named Honey. He and his family enjoy spending time outside hiking, biking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Tyler spends his free time gardening, playing paddle tennis and pickleball, and skiing in the winter.
