Founder and CIO

Bob founded SKY in 2005 and served as its president and chief investment officer since its founding. Prior to starting SKY, Bob was a portfolio manager and investment broker with UBS/PaineWebber for 16 years. In 2025, Bob retired from his role as president of SKY to focus on managing his client relationships and CIO responsibilities.

Bob feels it is a great privilege to be a part of the lives of SKY’s clients. The firm’s clients are a joy to work with, and their families are filled with great people. Bob enjoys being a part of their advisor network and having the opportunity to celebrate each family’s growth and successes throughout their lives. He is incredibly grateful for the people at SKY and their genuine devotion to supporting each client and their family.

Bob is originally from Maryland and attended Middlebury College. In his free time, Bob likes to fish, boat, golf, ski, hike, and read. He also cherishes spending time with his wife Carol, and their children, grandchildren and families.
